Around Austin, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across Texas are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

Austin is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Austin follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Jenkins. I’ve always been extremely nervous and scared when it comes to dentists and dental procedures, but he made me feel so comfortable and reassured from the moment he saw me. I was dealing with a horrible toothache and significant swelling, and Dr. Jenkins came in on call for me at UT Hospital downtown when I needed help the most. He was incredibly kind, patient, compassionate, and made a really scary situation feel so much easier. I’m extremely grateful that he was there for me and for the care he gave me during such a painful and stressful time. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Jenkins, especially to anyone who has dental anxiety. Thank you so much for helping me when I needed it most! ❀️

Difficulty making first contact with office. After contact was made I got a rapid appointment for my consultation with Dr Tibbitts. The consultation was great. First impression of Dr Tibbitts was patient centered and cautious about my other health concerns. I left the consultation with a positive feeling about Dr Tibbitts. The medical staff also seemed to be on point. Very efficient at their tasks. I will recommend them.

Recently had two separate required extractions with Dr. Jenkins within a couple months of each other. Both great experiences with Dr. Jenkins and his team - they walked through options for my particular situation. Once we had a path, they patiently walked through the process and answered questions, offered options on pain management, and explained aftercare instructions thoroughly. Also a shout out to the office staff - especially Hailey, who was amazing in helping to coordinate and schedule my appointments quickly! Thank you Midtown!

Dr. Jenkins and his assistant Maleh provided exceptional care for my 16-year-old son. They were both very thorough, patient, and made sure he felt comfortable every step of the way. As a parent, that meant everything to me. They took the time to explain everything clearly and treated him with such kindness and respect. We truly had a great experience and highly recommend this office!

I was very impressed with the professionalism and personal care that I received from Midtown oral surgery. The doctor, Dr. Jenkins, and the staff went out of their way to make me comfortable about the procedure, walked me through it as it was happening and more importantly to me at the time was that there was no pain! Having experienced being in a dental chair a lot in my life I can tell you Midtown was exceptional. As a satisfied customer, I recommend them.
